What to eat: blue fish
Blue fish is probably the most widespread in the Adriatic , the cheapest and probably the most present on our tables. It is customary to speak of blue fish as the one with the typical dark blue dorsal and silvery ventral colouration. This fish abounds in the Adriatic and this prerogative makes it cheap.
Loaded with "omega three", fats similar to vegetable fats, it is a precious food for brain development and to protect the heart and arteries .
They are easily found in all our fishmongers but we mainly recommend:
- Anchovies (found throughout the year)
- Swordfish
- Amberjack
- Sardine
- Mackerel
- Sole
- Mullet
- Saraghina
